Good evening!

Just a reminder that Jay Gates Day is coming up this Saturday, June 7th, 2025. It's going to be a fun event to support Jay Gates and his family after his stroke. We have a horseshoe and cornhole tournament, a beef and beer event, and some exciting raffles planned. If it rains in the afternoon, we'll move the cornhole event inside the hall (the horseshoe games will not take place). Please spread the word!

We are also looking for volunteers to help with the event. If you can assist on Friday around noon or early on Saturday with preparing for the cornhole and horseshoes tournament, or later in the afternoon/evening on Saturday with setting up for the beef and beer, it would be greatly appreciated. We could also use some help on Sunday morning for cleanup. Come join the fun and support a great cause! 😊

Hello everyone, 

As some of you are aware, Jay has been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital for about 2 to 3 weeks of intensive therapy, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy for about 3 hours daily. He looks good, is in high spirits, and is making progress. He's adjusting well and working hard in his therapies, including sitting up, talking, laughing, reading, and walking. Although he has been confused this week, which is common after moving between facilities, we hope his cognition improves with time and therapy. Please continue to send healing thoughts his way.

Please remember that June 7th is Jay Gates Day at the 25 Club. Registration starts at noon for corn hole and horseshoes. If rain is in the forecast, corn hole will take place in the hall. Then at 7 PM, we will host a beef and beer event. Please look at the flyer for additional…
